Pinball Wizard is a pigment transfer by Hollis Brown Thornton. The transfer process essentially transfers the pigment from a photocopy to another surface with acrylic paint. A detailed step-by-step is available HERE. The print is signed, titled, and numbered on the back.
Kept out of direct sunlight and framed under UV plexi, the image will last indefinitely. The work is on American Masters 250 GSM paper, 100% cotton rag, acid free, close to poster board thickness.
Shipping
The work is shipped flat in an archival plastic sleeve in a cardboard mailer. Shipping costs are included for orders in the United States. For international shipment, $10 shipping for the first print and free shipping for any additional prints.
*This image is one in an edition of ten. During the pigment transfer process, subtle variations occur in the eroded areas of the pigment. Therefore, expect slight differences in the abrasions between each piece. However, the subject matter and content remain the same.
